The Book Group in Central Library Discovery Room who meet on a Tuesday afternoon between 1.30 - 3.30pm need a few members. The Life Long Learning course starting 29th September runs for 30 Weeks. Costs £50, £35 or £10 depending on circumstances. This term we travel to Russia Each Week there will be a different Russian Novel presented to the class . No need to read the book yourself you will have a flavour of it in the Class. The class decides where to travel next term. Description
The new Central Library is part of the £13 million Civic Centre Project which includes a seafront café, a family history centre and a contact centre where people will be able to do business with the authority face to face. The new Central Library is 2000 square metres in size, which is two 5 aside football pitches! It has 100% more books to borrow, 'rhyme time' for little ones, local history talks, 60 computer terminals with Internet access, reading groups and plenty of exciting events for all the family. Open Tue-Fri 8:30am-8pm and Sat-Sun 10am-4pm.
